LEARN MORE

Carine Erseng has headlined at the Olympia, the Cigale and the Café de la Danse, and opened for artists such as Liza Minnelli, Maurane and Diana Krall…
She sings with talent songs ranging from Jain to Aretha Franklin, from Brel, with a remarkable Amsterdam a cappella, to Pharell Williams…
She also plays her own compositions, which quickly find an echo in the audience. With a small dose of irony, she depicts what affects her with heady melodies and chiselled lyrics. In short, a moment that was both festive and touching.

BIOGRAPHY

Carine has never taken any specific singing lessons or training. Singing is in her blood, so maybe that’s the key to her success! His inspiration came from his father, who sang Elvis on the guitar, but he didn’t go on to become a professional artist.

Carine is totally at ease on stage, even when one time she was opening for impersonator Gérald Dahan at the Casino de Paris and there were technical problems. She couldn’t hear the two guitarists accompanying her! She had to sing a cappella for 25 minutes in front of 1,500 people! Talk about a moment of solitude!

Before arriving at Oh! César, she sang in other cabarets, released several albums, including one with Polydor/Universal (selling 100,000 albums in all), and opened for Maurane, Diana Krall and Liza Minnelli at the Olympia, where she also gave a sold-out solo performance on 17 March 2008. She has taken part in numerous festivals and has toured all the zeniths of France opening for comedian Elie Semoun. More recently, she sang at the Palais des Sports alongside ventriloquist Jeff Panacloc.

And as if all that wasn’t enough to pass the time… She’s a devoted mother of 2 little girls. A real Wonder Woman!
